Brothers Georg and Carl Popp at War
Georg Popp was a trained photographer and took pictures of his deployment on the western front in France. The pictures show motifs from everyday soldier life, including a war hospital in Le Quesnoy at Christmas 1916. After the war he continued to work as a photographer in Leipzig.
