Large tenor viol or lyra or small division viol.
Technical description: Soundboard of spruce; back, ribs, neck and head of sycamore; fingerboard of stained pear(?); tail peg of ebony; pegs black stained fruitwood with ivory dots; nut of ivory. The tailpiece was attached violin-method with an ivory tail-gut protector let into the soundboard. Inked lines to imitate purfling. C-holes.
