Transfected glioblastoma cells: reduced endocytosis
Human glioblastoma cells in culture viewed both with phase contrast and fluorescence imaging. The green cell has been transfected with a mutated P10 gene. This produces a catalytically inactive P10 protein which reduces the cell's ability to take up particles by endocytosis.
