Angiopoietin-like protein 4 an unfolding chaperone regulating lipoprotein lipase activity
Lipoprotein lipase (LPL) is the main enzyme hydrolyzing triglyceride-rich lipoproteins in plasma. Proteoglycan-bound LPL on the vascular endothelium represent the functional pool of active enzyme.
