Thickness planer and belt drive
Stereo recording including sound from belt drive. You can find this Thickness planer from about 1910 at Skansen in Stockholm.
The cover that you can see on the picture is not the original and it’s now connected to a dust extractor. (The dust extractor was not used during sound recording). The pine we planed was about 40 millimeter wide and we planed about 1 mm thickness.
