The three dancers in situ
Base of the column of Acanthus
Archive photograph which depicts the base of the column of the city Acanthus in Chalcidice. The base is decorated with three sculpted female figures wearing tall headcovers and moving in a dancing array. The base was found in the sanctuary of Apollo and was transferred to the museum.
