POST MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
Incomplete, bent, cast copper alloy, early post medieval buckle. The buckle takes the form of a double oval frame, which is semi circular in section. It is plain, without a notched or moulded pin rest. The pin is missing. The pin bar is slightly wasted. It is 21.5mm long, 17.48mm wide and weighs 1.32g. A larger example can be found in Margeson, 1993, page 30, number 163.
