My great-grandfather, Paul Nowarka, was born on May 8, 1895 in Petersdorf (today's Szobiszowice in Gliwice) and died in March 1975 in Pyskowice. Already at the beginning of the war, he ends up in Cottbus, where he is appointed to the Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung No. 12 in Cottbus. He is a mechanic and serves in aircraft maintenance.
