Mount or plaque (portion)
A mount or plaque portion in bronze ground and champlevé enamel (a technique cells are carved into a usually metal object and filled with coloured enamel. It is a curved flat piece with a cabled edge. It has two perforations for attachment to something else, possibly a reliquary shrine or a Holy Water Font. There are three floral motifs between two blue bands. French, Meuse Valley [Mosan].
