Model of a rocker with inscription
This votive object was found together with E.00642 in 1894-1895 by Naville, in a foundation deposit of the temple of Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahri. It is a model of a lifting system, made of two wooden circle segments that are joined by six wooden beams. This sledge-shaped device was used to lift and move stone blocks.
