Flag with the coat of arms of His Highness the Panembahan Notokusumo of Sumenep.
Battalion flag of the Sumenapsche Auxiliary Troops, with the coat of arms of the Panembahan Natakusumo of Sumenep in the middle. This probably refers to Natakusuma II, who held the title of panembanhan from 1812 to 1825 (after which he was called sultan). Among other things, it took part in the Padri wars and the siege of Bonjol (1837).
