BRONZE AGE SOCKETED AXEHEAD

Bronze fragment of Late Bronze Age socketed axe. This badly worn fragment is from the cutting end of the axe. Though It is just about possible to make out the splayed form of the axe tip, the cutting edge no longer exists and the surviving edge is badly worn.
