Limpieza de sangre y división en estados: el municipio de Almagro durante el siglo XVI
La historiografía tardó en tomar conciencia de la verdadera importancia del problema de la limpieza de sangre en la España moderna. El asunto fue desvirtuado en el siglo XVIII y prácticamente olvidado en el XIX y primera mitad del XX.
