In the first picture, my great-grandmother is shown with her family. Her father's name is Gavrila. His first wife as well as her children died of a disease, brought by Gavrila from the First World War, from the front. Gavrila then fought in the Austro-Hungarian army. The second wife, Ana, was Maria's mother, and Maria is my great-grandmother. Ana died, as a young woman, working at the weaving mill…
