A soldier's family of three photographed in Skipton.
Photograph taken in Yorkshire
The name of the photographic studio that produced this postcard is printed on the reverse: ‘C. &. S. Kestin, Photographers, Skipton [then in the West Riding of Yorkshire]’. The photograph is of a family of three. It is difficult to make out the badge on the soldier–father’s cap, on the table, but its shape indicates that it may be the King’s Own (Yorkshire Light Infantry)’s cap badge.
