Brüder Oswald und Theodor Meisel ziehen in den Krieg
Brothers Oswald und Theodor Meisel in First World War
My grandmother's only brothers, Oswald and Theodor Meisel, went to World War I very young (born 1896 and 1899). While Theodor died in the Battle of Verdun on June 9, 1916, Oswald returned alive from World War I. However, he died in World War II in 1944. The 6 sisters and their children survived both world wars.
