MEDIEVAL VESSEL
An incomplete cast copper-alloy vessel strengthening plate / mount or eschutcheon from a sheet metal cauldron / vessel of later Medieval date (AD 1200-1500). The plate is sub-triangular in shape and has a circular hole on the widest end which would have allowed the handle to pass through.
