Black and white photograph (6 x 8 ½ cms) of Mr Richard Kennedy SJ (1906-1986), enjoying a quiet read in the porch of villa (holiday) house, Hong Kong. Kennedy, born in Dublin, served as a chaplain in the British Army in the Second World War and was imprisoned by the Japanese from 1941-1945.
