Black and white photograph (6 x 8 ½ cms) of Fr John O'Meara SJ (1898-1991), standing outside a traditional Batak house, Sumatra (Indonesia). Fr O’Meara, born at Mallow, County Cork, did missionary work in Hong Kong and southern China for almost 60 years.
