Letter from the trenches, 16 May, 1915
Letter from the trenches, 16 May, 1915
This letter, dated 16 May, 1915, was sent by my uncle Laurence Dunne (my mother's brother) from somewhere in Europe. The letter states that he could not say where he was. It was sent to his boss, apologising for not meeting with him before he left to join up.
