Lagoon lagoon

All the islets of Grado’s lagoon (Province of Gorizia) are inhabited by
fishermen. They use a fishing system exploiting the low and high tides which clears and inundates
vast muddy areas. This type of fishing, however, is outdated because it cannot compete with
modern needs, and the lagoon looses more inhabitants every year.
