POST MEDIEVAL FINGER RING
A copper alloy twisted wire finger ring. One piece of plain wire is twisted into a double hoop and formed into an elaborate knot acting as a bezel. A second piece of wire which is twisted all along its length forms a frame round the bezel. It was probably gilded originally but there are no traces of this surviving.
