An Archaeological Watching Brief at 'South Wind', Gooderstone, Norfolk.
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of the footing trench for a single house. A pit or gully was recorded which contained pottery dated to the Late Saxon period. This feature cut the upper fills of a large predominantly peat-filled feature at least 9.5m wide and 2.4m deep.
