Old Grammar School, Vicar Lane
Undated. View of the Old Grammar School which had been built in 1624 as a gift from benefactor John Harrison. He built the school from his own personal fortune on his land between Vicar Lane and New Briggate near St John's Church. A new grammar school was built on Woodhouse Moor and opened on June 27th 1859.
