Ingeborg Johnsson, gift Frankmar, emigrerade till Amerika 1901, när hon var 17 år. Ingeborg var folkskollärardotter från Köinge, i Halland. Hon ville gå i folkhögskola, men familjen hade inte råd, därför emigrerade hon. Ingeborg reste med fartyget Ariosto från England och vidare till Amerika med fartyget Ivernia. Efter sex år i Amerika återvände hon hem till Sverige 1907.
