Flask
The minute decoration of chrysanthemums is inlaid. The flower motifs were incised into the walls of the vase and the incisions filled with two kinds of clay, white and black. The whole was then covered with a green glaze. The vase was restored in Japan with expensive gold lacquer, a sign of the high esteem accorded to Korean ceramics there.
