Caniadau dwyfol; wedi eu hamcanu mewn iaith esmwyth, er budd a gwasanaeth i blant, a gyfieithwyd gan D. Jones (1771)
Dafydd Jones or Dewi Dywyl (1803-1868) was a Welsh balladeer. His father was a carpenter in Llanybydder. Daffyd Jones gained the name Dewi Dywyll, which means Blind Davy, due to being blinded by accident. Along with writing ballads he also sang them.
