Natalie Hannah McCool is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Whiston, Merseyside and brought up in Widnes, Cheshire. Natalie first became recognised when she won the Yamaha national songwriting competition 'Make It Break It', judged by music industry professionals such as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Grammy Award winning music producer Steve Levine and Live Aid promoter Harvey Goldsmith CBE. After the 'Make It Break It' awards show, Natalie signed a record contract with Levine's label Hubris Records. In January 2014, after releasing several records on Hubris, Natalie and Levine mutually agreed to end the recording contract. In 2009 Natalie received a one to one songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney.
