Misbaha Prayer Beads of Khalil with drawing
I am from the port city Latakia in Syria and left Syria in October 2015 and moved to Brussels.
Most of my family has stayed in Syria but two of my brothers travelled with me and are now living in Antwerp, Belgium. Before I left Syria, my mother gave me these prayer beads, which we call Misbaha, as a way of remembering her and my country. As soon as the war is over, I wish to return to my hometown…
