Childers Street nos. 7 - 11
23rd May 1960 Image shows three double fronted back-to-back terraced houses flanked by yards originally built to house shared outside toilets. Shared by upto 30 people from several households, keys were kept behind house doors on large wooden fobs to prevent theft. A bicycle leans against the wall of number 9 protected by an umbrella while a woman in an apron leans out the door of number 11.
