Documents from Créquy family
Charles Créquy, a farmer in La Francheville (Ardennes), is the contributor's grandfather. Assigned to a regiment in Soissons (Aisne), at the beginning of August 1914, he was discharged on August 15, 1914 because of his small size. From January 6, 1918 to July 23, 1918, he was hostage to reprisals in Lithuania in the Milejgany and Roon camps.
