Maria met kind
De marmeren nis waarin Maria met het Christuskind zit, is een staalkaart van de moderne renaissancestijl. Pilasters en balusters, ronde nissen, ramskoppen, hoorns des overvloeds en krullende acanthusbladeren zijn karakteristiek voor de nieuwe stijl, die was gebaseerd op de architectuur van de klassieke oudheid.
