- The mission of the Ministry of Culture’s digital strategy is to define, coordinate and implement the national cultural digital strategy. The Twin iT! Campaign answers to part of the 2023-2028 coalition agreement of the Government of Luxembourg, notably under the heading “Heritage preservation”. Indeed, the 3D scanning of certain monuments and other historical sites can therefore meet this ambition. The campaign also provides skills training regarding the digitization of buildings in 3D. These new findings can therefore be made available to other cultural heritage institutions or other national actors who would benefit from such know-how. The Ministry of Culture chose the Grand Auditoire of the Villa Louvigny because of its historical, cultural and social relevance. Using the Grand Auditoire as a starting point, allows to grow the asset over time, by adding other 3D elements of the Villa and its surroundings. ; Building Information Modeling; Laser scanning; LiDAR
