Patrick Langdon
Malaria in the Connaught Rangers
Corporal Patrick Langdon (5344) was in the Connaught Rangers. Born in Galway, Ireland in 1889, he was living at Spanish Parade in 1901 but was no longer there in 1911.
He contracted malaria in the forces in WW1. He was a pensioner after the war, and traded in his pension for funeral costs about a year before his death in 1937.
