Joseph Aloisius Drauschke born on May 23, 1898 in Berlin, son of Joseph Hieronymus Drauschke and Berta (nee Alexander) was a driver in the First World War. As a driver, he drove the horses on gun carriages. On May 22nd, 1918 he started his service in the clothing department of the Replacement Battalion Foot Artillery Regiment 21 in Graudenz.
