Léon Verneau, soldier in the 131st line, has compiled a collection of illustrated songs. Léon Verneau was injured in Verdun and suffered a trepanation. His trench was shelled several times, he was almost buried and gassed. Following the war, he resumed his work as a farmer and was a volunteer firefighter.
