Impression of a coconut plantation in Coronie in Suriname. SHOTS: - a man climbs a tall palm tree using a special climbing technique; picks coconuts and throws them down; there they are chopped into pieces with machetes and the bark and flesh are separated; coconut oil is made from the flesh, the waste is for the pigs; - some of the flesh is made into copra in a small factory by drying it.
