Scarab with ram-headed sphinx
On the base of this scarab we see a ram-headed sphinx, in profile to the right, with a “shwty” crown on the head (consisting of falcon feathers between two uraei). Above its back, there is a winged cobra, crowned with the Red Crown of Lower Egypt. The composition and the morphology of the scarab are characteristic of the Ramessid Period (19-20th dynasty).
