Traditional Wrestling
SERIES TITLE: The countryside and its people
The traditional wrestling, so-called „Ranggeln“, is a folksy sports game which has its origin in the Alpine region. Officially established by Archbishop Leonard von Keutschach in 1518, “Ranggeln” was a high decorated competition in which the winner gains the title of “Hogmoar”. This game was meant to settle disputes between locals.
