The Lebanon Cedar is the emblem of the Lebanon where it mainly grows. In Turkey and Syria it can also be found. This tree can rise up to 40 metres and is among the most used species. Yet in antiquity one used his wood and today it is utilized as timber and by carpenters. From its heart wood an essential oil is gained which is sold as cedaroil and applied in aroma therapie.
