Chattree of Sultan Sing [sic] in Deeg fort

chhatri in the fort at Dig, Rajasthan, taken by the studio of
Priyalall & Company in c.1900. Dig was established as the
first capital of Bharatpur State by the Sinsini Jat Badan Singh. He
was proclaimed Raja of Dig in 1722 and ruled until 1733. The fort
was built by his son Suraj Mal (ruled 1733-63) in 1730. The chhatri
is a cenotaph, probably a memorial…
