A daily English language newspaper, being one of the chief organs of Welsh Liberal politics and which circulated in Glamorganshire, Monmouthshire, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Montgomeryshire, Cardiganshire, Breconshire, Radnorshire, the Forest of Dean and many portions of the West of England. The newspaper's main content included a digest of local and national events, together with the London and provincial markets.
