Painting "Aphrodite Emerging from the Waters" by Tiziano Vecellio, Goddess Aphrodite Commemorative Issue, Republic of Cyprus
This stamp depicts a Greco -Roman statue of "Bathing Aphrodite" which was found at Soloi and is now in the Cyprus Museum. Aphrodite was the adopted daughter of Zeus.
