Classical verse

A collection of bardic fragments, 17-18th cent., containing a strong element of MacMhuirich poetry. Much of the material was probably collected in Uist by James MacPherson. Written on paper. Bound and inlaid in 1915, but subsequently taken out of this binding and encapsulated. Partly belonging to other Advocates Manuscripts volumes, and folios partly back to front and partly out of sequence.
