Polished Jadeite Axehead
An axehead with asymmetrical faces, a gently curved asymmetrical edge and pointed sides. The edge is chipped but very sharp. The blade is damaged by flaking and this extends from the edge to the centre of both faces. The blade, sides and faces are ground and polished. The butt is severely damaged by flaking. The axe has an narrow oval cross-section. ?Irish.
