Oblong Flint Axe Head
A Neolithic flint axehead, with straight splayed sides from the blade to the butt. The sides and blade edge merge on the left but there is severe damage to the blade on the right. The faces are partly ground along the centre. The butt is rounded and flaked and the blade and face are polished. The axe has a pointed oval cross-section. This axehead was found in Co. Antrim
