Jim the Swim
My name is Jim Anderson, known as Jim the Swim since being named as such by a commentator during an event! I have cerebral palsy. I do not suffer from it. I just have it.
At school, I was introduced to swimming as a therapeutic activity not realising just where it would take me. I won my first medal, made of card and string, for swimming a breadth of the pool. I still treasure it.
