Archaeological excavation report, E3886 Ballinilllaun 2, County Galway.

This site consisted of a poorly preserved, Early Bronze Age, burnt mound. Three pits were excavated and all the fills of the pits contained large proportions of charcoal and heat-shattered limestone. A radiocarbon date of cal BC 1934–1773 were obtained from basal fill of a trough.
