Basilica of San Vitale, wall mosaic decoration, apse, semi-dome: Christ Kosmokrator. On a golden background, five figures are depicted standing on flowered grass. In the centre Christ Kosmokrator offers the martyr's crown to Saint Vitale with his right hand. On his left side, bishop Ecclesius offers Christ a model of the church.
