My Tanzanian Yearbook

My object gives an absolutely smooth and warm feeling when you hold it in your hands. It is so lovely to have a yearbook, which reminds you of nature, friends and teachers of your school. The covering is aqua blue for the ocean and a beautiful woody brown like a boat. It is quite colourful.

It is important to me because I have had it for such a long time that it is so special. This story explains my journey with my object.

When I left Tanzania, I put my yearbook in my own bag safe and sound. The airport was bustling with people and I finally got on the plane to The Netherlands and got off.

I like it because it has very creative with beautiful pictures with children doing things in their class. Some photos show very cute children and it also has a picture of me in my class. The book was made in December 2016 but I got on the 15th January 2017. I have had it for one an half years in school. I keep it on a glimmering shelf with other important things. When the sunshine shines, it sparkles like diamonds. If I would go away, I would trust my grandma and grandpa to keep it safe.
